Excursions
The Amazon Survival Trip is a 3-day, 2-night tour that provides maximum contact with nature and learning about the forest. Highlights of the trip include:
Piranha fishing, birdwatching, trekking, camping, fishing of piranha, cayman spotting and much more. The Raul Expeditions is an adventure for nature enthusiasts who want to immerse themselves in the jungle, learn about its flora and fauna, and experience the beauty and diversity of the Amazon.
Caiman Program
DAY 1
- Pick up from the airport and then we will transfer to the city center – Hotel.
- Coordination of the next day’s activities.
DAY 2
- Breakfast at the hotel and then we will take the car that will take us to the city of Nauta. (travel time: approximately 1:30 hours).
- Next, we will take the typical boat to the Yarapa River. On the way we will see the union of the 3 rivers. (Ucayali, Marañón and Amazonas).
- Arrival at the Lodge and room assignment – Lunch.
- After lunch there will be a short walk to the jungle.
Majas Program
DAY 1
- Breakfast at the hotel and then we will take the car that will take us to the city of Nauta. (travel time: approximately 1:30 hours).
- Next, we will take the typical boat to the Yarapa River. On the way we will see the union of the 3 rivers. (Ucayali, Marañón and Amazonas).
- Arrival at the Lodge and room assignment – Lunch.
- After lunch there will be a short walk to the jungle.
DAY 2
- Sunrise view and bird watching (5:00am).
- After breakfast we will take a walk through the primary jungle where we will learn about medicinal plants, giant trees, monkeys, birds and more.
- Return to the Lodge.
- After lunch we will take a canoe excursion to observe pink and gray dolphins and the sunset.
- Dinner After dinner we begin a night excursion to observe alligators and other species.
- Return to the Lodge.
